Do Good By Donating Your Unwanted Goods

In addition to giving a second life to things you no longer want, your donations of gently-used furniture, home furnishings, appliances, building materials, etc. have a direct impact on families in our community. That’s because the proceeds from our ReStore enable us to direct 100% of financial donations to our homebuilding fund and to pay our staff a living wage, including benefits. Pretty great, right?

Donating to our ReStore

Thank you, we greatly appreciate your consideration and donation to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore of the Roaring Fork Valley! Your donation helps build affordable homes with workforce families in our region. All donations are tax deductible up to $5,000 per year without an auditor. Our team will provide a receipt for your records.

In order to better serve our customers, we do have specific criteria for acceptable goods. The criteria are subject to change and some donations maybe be declined due to safety concerns or marketability. Sometimes it is difficult to categorize unique donations, such as pianos, artwork, antiques, carousel horses, etc. so if you have an item you’d like to donate, but are unsure if we will accept it, please give us a call or text us a picture at (970) 618-1666. Our ReStore team is happy to answer your questions!
