ReStore Sales Manager

Reports directly to: ReStore Director

Department: ReStore Team

Position: Full-time

Pay: $60,000 - $70,000/year

Position Summary: The ReStore Sales Manager supports the ReStore Director by managing the daily operations of the sales floor, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and efficient team performance. This role focuses on sales execution, merchandising, pricing, and volunteer coordination to drive revenue that directly funds Habitat RFV’s affordable housing work in the Roaring Fork Valley.


The Sales Manager plays a key role in creating an organized, engaging, and mission-driven shopping environment that reflects Habitat’s values of service, stewardship, and sustainability.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Leadership & Customer Experience:

  • Lead daily sales operations, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient transaction processing.

  • Motivate and train sales staff to achieve individual and team sales goals.

  • Monitor and adjust product displays, pricing, and signage to optimize sales and inventory turnover.

  • Foster a welcoming, mission-centered environment for shoppers, donors, and volunteers.

Staff & Volunteer Supervision:

  • Schedule, train, and supervise sales associates and volunteers, ensuring coverage and high performance.

  • Provide ongoing coaching and recognition to maintain morale and productivity.

  • Promote teamwork between front-of-house, processing, and donations teams to ensure seamless operations.

Inventory & Merchandising:

  • Oversee product flow from donations intake to the sales floor, ensuring accurate pricing and quality standards.

  • Track sales trends to inform pricing, marketing, and product rotation decisions.

  • Maintain clean, organized, and attractive displays consistent with Habitat branding and merchandising guidelines.

Operational Support:

  • Ensure accurate cash handling, daily reconciliation, and adherence to store policies.

  • Assist the ReStore Director with training materials, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.

  • Support marketing events and promotions to increase foot traffic and awareness.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of retail management, merchandising, or sales experience.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams.

  • Excellent customer service orientation and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic reporting tools.

  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Enthusiasm for Habitat for Humanity’s mission and community impact.
