DESCRIPTION: Antique Chinese Temple Garden Gate Doors
CONDITION: Great. Iron weathering is consistent with age.
DETAILS: These are late 18th century, early 19th century, temple gate doors. The iron plates and hardware are hand-forged with slight imperfections that add to the beauty and uniqueness of the piece. The iron metal plates are shaped in lingzhi mushroom motifs. The iron fu dog heads have large ring pulls in their mouths. Each door has a top and bottom hinge for insertion into a frame. The dimensions of the left door are 19.75"x 77"x 2.5" and the dimensions of the right door are 20.5"x 77"x 2.5". The length including both bottom and top peg hinges is 81"
